How much is a haircut?

Do you cut kids' hair?

Yes. Kid's Classic Cut $38. All other kids' cuts same as men's price.

Does the razor shave take it all off or just clean up the edges.

All off. Bare-skin smooth. If you want the beard shaped, ask for Beard Shaping.

How often should I get a Beard Shaping.

Every three to four weeks if you keep the beard the same length. Every two if you're growing it out and want the neckline sharp.

Will the razor irritate my skin.

Short-term redness for an hour after, sometimes. A cold flannel and a non-alcohol balm fix it. Tell us if you've got sensitive skin and we'll skip the alcohol aftershave.

Can you tidy a moustache on its own.

Yes. Five minutes, no charge if you're in the chair for something else. Walk in for just the moustache and it's Beard Shaping price.

Best week to come if there's a wedding coming up.

Two weeks before. Gives the beard time to even out. A day-before razor shave is fine if you want bare skin.

Beard Shaping $22#

Clipper work plus line work plus a finish.

The barber takes the beard down to the length you ask for. Shapes the neckline. Cuts the cheek line. Trims the moustache so it doesn't dip below the top lip.

Add it to a haircut and it's another 15 minutes in the chair. Walk in on its own and it's a 20 to 25 minute sit.

Hot towel and aftershave included.

Deluxe Razor Shave $55#

Straight razor, done properly. Hot towel first. Pre-shave oil. Lather. Razor work. Second pass against the grain on the spots that need it. Aftershave balm.

Forty-five minutes in the chair. Skin walks out smooth.

Not a daily routine. An occasion or a reset. Wedding the next morning. Work portrait next week. Beard you've decided to retire.

How to brief the line#

Three things to call out before the razor moves.

The neckline. Sit it just above the Adam's apple, sit it on the jaw line, or split the difference. Default is two fingers above the Adam's apple.
The cheek line. Natural follows the beard's own top edge. Sharp pulls it down to a clean diagonal. Most people want natural.
The moustache. Above the top lip, or right at it. Wide or trimmed.

What not to ask for#

Don't ask for "a trim" without a number. Our trim is our trim. We'll guess. You'll wish you hadn't.

Don't ask the razor to "shape" a beard. Razor's for taking it off. Beard Shaping uses clippers.

Don't bring a celebrity photo and expect the same beard. Their face isn't your face.
