Three rules to make it work on a lunch break. Pick a quiet hour. Tell us "Crew Cut" by name when you sit. Skip the small talk if you're tight.
What a Crew Cut actually is#
One length on the back and sides, blended on top. Short. Tidy. No fade work. No skin work. A barber-grade clippercut, hot towel, styling, aftershave.
If you want a fade or a skin fade, it's a different cut. Half Fade $62. Skin Fade $62. Those take 30 to 45 minutes.
What it costs#
$30 flat. Friday and Saturday surcharges apply. Card or cash, EFTPOS at the chair.
The cut includes hot towel and aftershave. Same as the $45 Classic. Same as the $62 fades. The fixed extras don't downgrade because the cut is cheaper.
When to walk in#
Midweek lunch hours are the best window. Tuesday to Thursday, 12:00 to 1:30. The morning wave has cleared, the after-school wave hasn't started.
If a Saturday lunchtime walk-in is the only option, double the time budget. Saturday is real wait time.
What to say in the chair#
"Crew Cut please. Number one on the back and sides. Half a centimetre on top." That's enough.
If you've got a hard out by 1:00, say so when you sit. We'll cut to the clock if it's tight.
Why $30 still gets the full chair#
The shop has one chair experience. The cheaper tiers don't skip the towel, the styling, or the aftershave. The price difference is the time and the technique, not the trimmings.
The crew can do a $30 Crew Cut as cleanly as a $62 Skin Fade. Two different cuts. Both done properly.
